Welcome

John McGinn, Vice Cow, opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. Moo Cow Chaplin, David Riner began with prayer.

This was one of the largest groups that we have had in attendance; the estimated number present is 90. There were seven guests of which three were from Blood N Fire.

Linda Barrett followed with her inspirational report of how she had survived brain surgery. Her life and story are an inspiration to us all.

Continuing, John reported that seventy-three bikes participated in the Peach Bowl Parade. This is the largest crowd ever to attend the Peach Bowl Parade and the 3rd largest parade of any bowl game parade.

Emphasis was placed on dues-paying members in 2005. The 2005 membership dues are due beginning at the January meeting, and are still a low $15.00 per person.

Blood and Fire (B&F) Update

Rose spoke briefly, thanking all for the support while encouraging all to continue support. As stated by Rose, giving to the poor is giving to God. Blood N Fire will open a skate park January 15th. All were encouraged to visit the web site at http://www.bloodnfire.com. Rose brought several guests from Blood N Fire: Larry, John, Todd, and Eric.

Individual Reports

Leon West reviewed the message board that will be linked to the Moo Cow web site. This is a great tool for communication and should become part of the web site soon.

John reviewed the election results of the previous meeting and introduced all officers in attendance.

Fundraising

Randy Adams reviewed fundraising ideas:

  • Tee shirts are available that include the logo and is the only way to get the logo.
  • Challenge Child in North Georgia will continue.
  • Victory Junction Camp will be a primary fundraiser.
  • Blood N Fire will continue.
  • 50/50 continues to be a favorite.
  • An event at Truitt's home is a possibility.
  • A bike show is an option.
  • Helmets will continue to be a fundraising item.
  • Large Moo Cows were also presented for purchase at the meeting and will continue.

Devotional

David Riner provided the devotional from John 3:16. We were all encouraged to present ourselves so that the world sees the Gospel of Jesus Christ in us. We have a vision too thrilling to avoid and should use the vehicle of motorcycles to express that truth to the world. Bikers enjoy the adventure of going where people do not go and carry the Gospel to people that do not know. Moo Cow bikers have a great opportunity to gain the attention and respect of multitudes.

Willie resounded the message by reviewing information about a biker church, pastored by Uncle Marvin. We were all invited to attend on a yet to-be-determined Friday evening to support the biker ministry.

As usual, we closed with prayer.
