Minutes, Monday, January 8, 2007

I. Randy opened with prayer.

II. Randy listed each committee and explained that almost all needed additional helpers.
The committees are as follows:
      A. Charity
      B. Membership
      C. Welcoming
      D. Ride
      E. Safety
      F. Photography

III. Barbara reminded us that it is time now to pay the yearly dues which are $15 a year or $100 for life.

IV. The charities to be supported this year will be announced at a future meeting.

V. A report on the Chick-fil-a bowl parade was given. There were about 40 MooCow bikes present.

VI. There are no January or February rides planned because of the uncertain winter weather.

VII. The head cow (Dan Cathy) was present and shared some information.
      1. 2006 was a great year for Chick-fil-a. There was a 16% sales increase.
      2. The new cookies 'n cream milk shake has 840 calories in it.
      3. We were encouraged to take care of our physical bodies.
      4. Dan recommended a new homeless center charity that the MooCows might consider supporting with a possible bike event.
      5. He reported Blood & Fire I is no longer operational.

VIII. Dave's devotion was titled "Is there any wind?" 1. We have a choice of trying to row through life on our own or putting up our sails and letting God move us along with his power.

IX. Jackie announced that beginning with our next meeting he will have his "milk bucket" in hand. He will be looking for MooCow "violations" and collecting "fines" as necessary.

X. Jeff Pritchett is temporarily working in Orlando at a Chick-fil-a there so he will miss a meeting or two.

XI. Dan Cathy closed the meeting in prayer.
