

Minutes, Monday, July 9, 2007
I. Approximately 45 people were in attendance.
II. Randy opened with prayer.
III. Jackie brought his bucket again to the meeting. Tonight all who felt blessed because they live in the USA were encouraged to put $1.00 in the bucket.
IV. Gary Kelly announced he would be coordinating an Iron Butt ride on Oct. 6, 2007. The ride will go south to Lake City and then over to Mobile.
V. John McGinn gave a report on the Hiawassee (Ride for Larry) ride. The ride started with 40 bikes. There were a few problems during the ride resulting in the group getting separated and reunited various times.
VI. July 28, 2007 the herd will ride to the Dillard House. The departure information will be announced via email.
VII. Robert Stokely announced the first SGT Michael Stokely Memorial Ride to be held Aug. 25, 2007. His son Michael was killed in Iraq. The proceeds will go to the Michael Stokely memorial fund to help students at Georgia Military College.
VIII. August 4, 2007 will be the Paul Coleman Memorial Ride.
IX. Cathy said the Victory Junction Ride and dinner to be held at Truitt Cathy's house will be in October. The exact date has not been determined yet. Dan Cathy has purchased the remainder of the MooCow pins to hand out at the Kyle Petty ride. Cathy will order more.
X. Ed Andros from ABATE announce a swap meet to be held on July 22, 2007 at the Atlanta Expo Center and encouraged people to attend.
XI. Dave's devotional was from II Kings when Elijah & his students were cutting wood and one of the student's axeheads came off from the handle. When the student "lost his head," he . . .
XII. A. Lost his power for service & his effectiveness.
B. Lost it while he was working.
C. Lost what was not his own.
D. Was painfully aware of his loss & appealed straight to his "master" for help.
E. Had it miraculously restored.
XIII. Randy closed with prayer.
