Devotion - David Riner

3rd John vs 2, Beloved I wish that in all things you would prosper. Everyone seems to be telling us how to manipulate God to make us millionaires. The Bible tells us that we should prosper; however, blessings do not always come in financial ways. Blessings come in many ways.

There is also spiritual prosperity that results in:

  • Increased desire for church attendance Luke 24 - Being with church people is important to our spiritual prosperity.
  • Increased knowledge of the Word of God - Acts 16, Received the Word with all readiness.
  • Increased desire to work for God - Isaiah 64
  • Increased Christ likeness - Eph 4:13, Obtain the whole measure of Christ.
  • Increased Joy and Peace
