John McGinn opened with prayer and opening comments.

The following is a summary of the meeting as reported by Vice Cow, John McGinn:

It was a welcome crowd indeed this evening at the Dwarf House in Fayetteville: our largest in a few months. We enjoyed a busy night.

Roy Whitney from Douglasville came to town to share his ministry of serving food to the homeless. Roy has built a rolling kitchen made from a van. With the rolling kitchen, Roy can prepare and serve meals, and even clean up afterwards. Roy does this all out of his own pocket. Roy has prepared and served over 36,000 meals. His vision statement is, "Stop for the one." Seems to me that his is a ministry that MooCows should consider helping.

Jeff was there with new membership cards for everyone. If you were not in attendance, contact Jeff to get your new card. Those lifetime cards do look good Jeff. All you herd members should consider the low price of $100.00 for a lifetime of benefits. I have to purchase another one for our new grandson; Andrew John McGinn.

Nelson Wallace donated a new leather jacket for auction. Art purchased the jacket for $75.00, with proceeds going to Blood N Fire. That jacket is Art.

Linda gave the herd an opportunity to write cards and letters to those serving our country in Iraq with Paul's unit - a small payment we can give to those serving in the Army.

Leon was there with a first hand experience story about Victory Junction. Leon and family attended a weekend retreat for his daughter who has diabetes. It's always good to hear reports on one of our charities--Victory Junction. The written word never tells the whole story, participation does.

We had some prospective members in the group. That is always good.

Eddie shared with us about his trip to Rome (not GA.), Paris (not Texas) and other ports. It's good to be able to say: "I know someone who went there."

David shared with us some of the story of the woman at the well. How is your life in treating your fellow sinners? We have all profited from David's teachings this year.

As the saying goes: "a good time was had by all." Hopefully you will make time to attend in November. We are going to have elections of officers for the 2006 Moo Cow year. We need new leadership, so now is the time for you to step up and show the herd what you have. The Vice Cow position has been fun for a long time, but it's time to move over.

Finance Report - Reported by Treasurer, Jeff Pritchett

As of September 12, 2005, we have a balance of $2,754.60.
