

Minutes, September 10, 2007
1. Randy opened with prayer.
2. Jackie passed the bucket stating that anyone without a name tag on owed $1.00 and anyone age 40 and up owed $1.00.
3. We had approximately 55 people in attendance - 3 of which were guests of members.
4. Saturday's ride to Dawsonville will leave at 10:00. We'll eat lunch at the Dawsonville Pool Hall and then ride on to Amicolola Falls.
5. October 13 we will ride to Cloudland State Park. Members are asked to bring a covered dish. A couple of people have volunteered to go in cars to carry the food. Chick fil a will provide the meat & tea.
6. The annual Victory Junction fundraiser at Truitt's residence is canceled for this year. Instead there will be a Texas Hold Em ride on November 3, 2007. The cost is $20 a hand and will end at Roosevelt Park near Callaway Gardens.
7. Randy announced he will not seek re-election as Vice Cow for 2008.
8. Dave's devotional. He first read some grandparent jokes.
Psalm 22 - David is thinking about his life.
In vs 30 - 31 David says as long as there are children to be born, there is a story to be passed down to the generations about the faithfull & goodness of God.
Having children or grandchildren:
A. Gives us a taste of immortality
B. Confirms our values & ideals
C. Continues our pilgrimage or lineage
